THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS.

Thank you so much to the partners and sponsors who make the work of the Aurora Black Community possible. Your support helps us to host barrier-free events & programs that are accessible to all residents. Thanks to the Town of Aurora and TD Bank, our main sponsors, for their on-going support. A report done by Fahad Ahmad, Nonprofit Consultant and PhD Candidate in Public Policy at Carleton University shows that both public and private foundations underfund Black-serving and Black-led community organizations. Only six of the 40 public and private foundations we reviewed funded Black-serving organizations over the 2017 and 2018 fiscal years, and only two foundations funded Black-led organizations in the same timeframe. Therefore, we are tremendously grateful to our sponsors, partners, and donors and looking to build a stronger support system in Aurora.
