About the Event
Diversity on the Ice is a celebration of unity, breaking barriers, and embracing the rich tapestry of our community and being Canadians. As we continue to honour Black History 365, this event underscores the importance of inclusivity in every aspect of our lives. Skating, a universal activity, symbolizes togetherness, where individuals of all backgrounds come together to share in the joy of movement. It's a powerful reminder that diversity isn't just welcomed – it's essential for creating a vibrant and harmonious community.
We are calling all expert skaters! Join us on the ice to help beginners. Additionally, we are seeking donations for skates, helmets, etc. Let's continue to build community and move #Forwardtogether and #Forwardforall.
