Community Education (Anti-Black Racism)

Service Description

This program is for everyone who wants to learn, unlearn and re-learn about cultural diversity— including anti-racism education for the teaching of live experience. We provide in-class or on-site speaking engagements in schools, organizations, etc., on Black History, cross-cultural experiences, and accountability. Please email us to book a speaking engagement at abc@aurorablackcommunity.com We also have a Movie Discussion Club (in partnership with Aurora Film Circuit) that gives everyone the opportunity to watch selected movies/documentaries on real issues that affect our community and provide a space for healthy, open, honest and authentic discussions. This helps to soften the barriers to hinder needed conversation. It also helps to foster trust and build relationships within our community. These movies discussion happen via Facebook live.
